ESTERBROOK

NEW YORK, USA

Esterbrook's origins date back to the mid-1800s in New York. At its peak, Esterbrook was the largest pen manufacturer in the United States, employing up to 600 people.

The Esterbrook Pen Company was relaunched in 2018 by fountain pen specialist "Kenro Industries", which revives the soul of the 1858 brand while innovating with a wide range of pens and accessories, including fountain pens, roller pens, ink, notebooks and pen cases.

THE ESTIE COLLECTION

The Estie collection is a true jewel in the world of writing instruments, a testament to Esterbrook's commitment to excellence and craftsmanship.

Its distinctive cigar shape and unique materials such as turned acrylic and genuine diamond flakes have made it an iconic collection coveted by collectors and writing enthusiasts alike.

This collection is divided into several categories.

THE DIFFERENT CATEGORIES

OTHER COLLECTIONS

THE J MODEL

A modern reincarnation of the iconic J model from the 1950s. This newcomer to the range, introduced in 2023, has rapidly gained in popularity thanks to its unique design and exceptional build quality. Its distinctive features capture the essence of a bygone era, while offering the performance and style expected of a contemporary fountain pen.

It is distinguished by the elegant hand-hammered barrel ring, an exquisite feature that sets it apart from competing fountain pens. This unique detail adds a touch of sophistication to every stroke. It is equipped with the famous Jowo 6 nib, renowned for its exceptional quality and fluid writing. All this is enhanced by the meticulously metal-plated top cap with Esterbrook Eternity logo.

THE JR (JUNIOR) MODEL

A small size with big potential: The JR is a captivatingly colorful acrylic pen in a small size for people who prefer a more compact writing instrument. Its lightweight design and comfortable grip make it an excellent choice for those with small hands or a preference for small pens.

The JR's versatility is expressed when you place the cap on the back of the fountain pen. This simple action transforms the small JR into a full-size pen, offering the comfort and balance of a larger writing instrument. Whether you prefer a more compact or larger pen, the JR can adapt to your writing style.

LE CAMDEN

The name of the Camden collection is a nod to the heritage and New Jersey town where Esterbrook had its factory in its early days. The Camden is designed as a full-size pen with the Jowo size 6 nib, offering a smooth, comfortable writing experience. Like the Estie collection, the Camden features a protective inner cushion. This spring-loaded cap provides a second seal to the nib, ensuring that it remains moist and ready to write whenever inspiration strikes.

BRAND HISTORY

Esterbrook has been the preferred pen of many 20th century personalities, such as Presidents Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy. But Esterbrook isn't just about politics: Donald Duck came to life on an Esterbrook No 356 by the famous Disney artist Carl Banks.

Linus and the rest of the Peanuts gang were also drawn by the skilled hand of Charles Schulz exclusively with his trusty Esterbrook fountain pen. Schulz was so attached to Esterbrook that when production of his beloved Radio 914 nib was discontinued, he bought back all the other remaining nibs from the brand and used them for his drawings until the publication of his last comic strip in 2000.
